SAC 1060 – Removable Support for Nylon

Brief Description of the product is as follow.

Taulman3D is a new mechanically removeable support material for Nylon 3D printing materials. SAC1060 prints at 23-255C like higher temperature Nylons. It does not melt into or weld onto Nylons.

It was developed to stick to all nylons as a support material during the printing process. SAC1060 s designed to support zero layer spacing between base nylons and support material allowing for the best bottom surface finish.

SAC stands for “Sacrificial Material #1060. SAC1060 comes in1.75mm and 2.85mm.

SAC1060 is a mechanically removeable (requires needle nose pliers) support material that works with all the nylons.

This include all of Taulman3D nylons as well as carbon fiber and the glass filled nylon. While SAC1060 prints at 235 to 255C, It does not mean melt into or weld onto nylons. It was developed to stick to all nylons as a support material during the printing process, yet retain a mild adhesion at ambient temperature.

This allows the user to print at 240C to 280C base nylons with support material that does not wrap or melt based on print.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS 

Tensile – 2200 PSI

Elongation – 14%

Printing temperature – 235-255C upto 265 for larger nozzles.

Colour – Light Grey

Density – 1.24

NOTE: SAc1060 is a sticky material coming out of the nozzle so make sure nozzles are cleaned prior to print.

Print Beds for use as a Raft:

PEI Bed – Heated to 70C-80C

Glass Bed – heated to 75C-85C

EZstik – 40C

NOTE: SAC 1060 is a sticky Polymer when melted it’s job is to lightly stick to slippery Nylon surface.
